Finca Consolapan

"That they knew that this coffee is done with the best quality, we give love to the land for the new generations and to transmit The love of work and the land to preserve the coffee production. We look for the recognition of people outside Mexico. "
-María Cristina Ávila, Producer

The Avila Family produces coffee by tradition and commitment, their slogan is "The love of the land is inherited from generation to generation" and they have been fulfilling it. The generation of María Cristina Ávila is the third one and their approach, although still based on family tradition, has been renewed with their commitment to the economic development of the region.
The "Consolapan" Farm, together with another farm in the same region, has maintained the planting of coffee as its primary activity. Sometimes situations of precariousness have occurred, especially with pests, but their position has not changed and they have managed to maintain their land in some way, knowing that they are not only maintaining their family heritage, but the livelihood of every family that depends on it.
For Cristina Ávila all coffee production processes are important and deserve due attention and care. The approach that is given in the "Consolapan" Farm when producing coffee is very direct to the relationship that the farm has with its community and environment, since the farm is one of the main natural lungs of the region and keeping the planting active prevents the land from being sold for urbanization purposes in the area.
Committed to preserving the family tradition and culture, the Avila family is interested in continuing with the cultivation of coffee with the hope that future generations will love the land.
